Description of Service

Worldflix provides a vocabulary learning platform featuring word sets, flashcards, and (for Premium subscribers) embedded video explanations. The service is offered on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid premium tiers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. Accounts created with false information may be suspended or terminated.

Payment & Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Intellectual Property

All content on Worldflix — including word definitions, example sentences, word set organization, and the platform itself — is the intellectual property of Worldflix or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

Embedded videos are sourced from YouTube and remain subject to their respective copyright holders' licenses. Worldflix does not claim ownership over third-party video content.

Disclaimers

Worldflix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

We do not warrant exam scores or academic outcomes from using Worldflix. Results vary by individual effort, preparation, and exam conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Worldflix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
